Ecco History

The Ecco shoes company was founded in Denmark in 1963 by Karl Toosbuy. Toosbuy was an great entrepreneur, and can be credited with introducing large-scale industrial production to the shoe industry. Despite this, his original vision of creating quality footwear remained the driving force of Ecco.

Today, Ecco is the 7^th largest shoe brand in the world.

Ecco Manufacturing Process 

Ecco shoes utilise the Advanced Direct Injection Technology which is responsible for making the sole of a shoe lighter in weight. More importantly, this allows the sole to mould to the contours of the foot, providing a highly comfortable anatomical fit.

Ecco Footwear take pride in their shoe manufacturing process and have managed to strike a fine balance between complete handwork and the latest production technologies. This production process means that personal care and attention is given to each shoe.
