AW 2014 Women's Trends

It's that exciting time in the Fashion industry with another new season approaching us and new trends being developed and recreated by some of the most prestigious Fashion Houses. Recently in the news, we have been bombarded with notifications of the Autumn/Winter 2014 catwalks, Paris being the latest city to host the extravagant parade of Haute couture. At Shoes International, we have been behind the scenes and busy researching the styles picked out. Our new line of Autumn/Winter Women’s Shoes will be on sale from September onwards which we are waiting with eager anticipation. Below is a sneak peak of what to expect from Shoes International this season. Good news, all shoes can be pre-ordered right now which we highly recommend to avoid disappointment.

Every woman needs a good pair of sturdy boots this season especially with weather forecasters predicting a very cold winter later on in the year. First brand that springs to mind couldn't be any others than Dr Martens! Bold patterns are one of the styles outlined from the recent catwalks and these Dr Martens couldn't be more perfect. The Core Pascal 8 eye boot is one of Dr Marten’s classic boots which features a beautiful 'Wild Poppy' print all over the soft grain leather. In this case the bolder the print, the better. These boots will go nicely with anything outfit whether you are dressing up or down! There are two versions to go with this classic boot, a darker blend of autumnal colours with black lace or a softer variation of pastel colours with white laces if your not wanting to accept the winter so fast.

chelsea

Fancy yourself to be a 'Made in Chelsea' fan or you love the London lifestyle a little too much? These boots could be just the pair for your wardrobe! The Dr Martens 'Refined Kensington Flora Boots' are a simple, structured boot which carry a sense of the countryside along with you. These would be perfect for any occasion; spending the day shopping in the capital or riding your stallion in the heart of the English countryside. The hard choice you would have to face with these beauties would be either the Black or the cherry red hue!

timberland

If the previously mentioned styles are not your particular preference, how about investing in a pair of Timberland Boots? Mostly related to shoes that would be used for hiking holidays, Timberlands are an accessory which never seem to be out of fashion! Whether your rocking a pair of denim jeans or a skater skirt, the classic chestnut variety is a very flattering colour which would compliment well with any outfit! Timberland boots are also waterproof which would be a relief to many of you, knowing that the English weather can be very temperamental at times! Even though the price of Timberlands may not be the most reasonable at first, these boots are guaranteed to last you a lifetime which seem to be a worthy investment for the upcoming cold winter months.

rubyshoo

Now onto some formal footwear this Autumn/Winter and don't we have the suggestions for you! Ruby Shoo have just released some stunning styles for the cold upcoming season which won't leave your feet cold for long. If you fancy showing off your wild side this winter, how about these 'Miley' court heels? The detailed black velvet swirls with an opulent set of black pearl beads are bound to take anyone’s breath away. Perfect for any formal black tie events or parties you have coming up in your calendar, they would even be an appropriate choice for Christmas Day. A girl can never have too many black court heels but if you fancy another style perhaps, the Ruby Shoo 'Eva' shoes might be what you are looking for. A black suede based court heel with an extravagant detailed rose by the tip of the shoe, you'll be feeling like Eva Mendes when you slip on these shoes.

loafer

As we can't get enough of Dr Martens, we have one last alternative to show you which are bound to get you a bit excited. The Core Originals 'Adrian' are a traditional styled loafer with a neat tassel on the front of the shoe which come in Dr Martens two signature hues; Cherry Red or Black. This would be a perfect shoe to go with your office attire, making it a nice change to wearing the usual heels. With the high quality that comes with the Dr Marten's brand, you'll be in safe hands with these loafers in terms of endurance, comfort and of course, style!
