It's that time of the year that seems to creep up on you every time. Night by night, the evenings are starting to loose their light and the weather starts to become predominantly worse. It could only mean that Summer is drawing to a close and we are welcoming Autumn onto the scene. Then a sense of sudden realisation, it is almost time for your beloved youngsters to start their new school year; one of the busiest times for parents nationwide. No need to stress though as Shoes International have come to the rescue and done all the preparation for you. We have picked out some of the staff favourites (parents themselves in fact) to lend a helping hand in getting the right School Shoes for your children during this hectic time.
Let's start off with Dr Martens for the little monsters. If your looking for a fashion statement for your little boy then we have just the suggestion. The 'Everley' is a beautifully made shoe inside and out. A 'Dark Brown Wyoming' leather covers the exterior of the shoe along with Marten's famous yellow stitching surrounding the air padded soles. Using only the highest quality materials which will provide prolonged wear and endurance, ideal for your boys who never seem to run short of the copious amounts of energy in the classroom and the playground.
Next brand that we recommend comes with no surprise. Ecco Shoes are one of the nation's most loved shoe brands with their incredibly high quality products and fantastic service. The 'Junior Dublin' sees to be the one of the best pairs of boys school shoes in terms of all roundness. A high shine black leather exterior sits upon a supportive sole. The shoes include a sturdy Velcro strap which is guaranteed to keep his feet secured. Whether your boy is 3 years old or 11 years old, the Junior Dublin would suit all age ranges. In particular if your son has not learned that his first trick of tying his laces, this will make any school run smoother without the hassle.
Timberland's Kids offer an extensive range of children's school shoes which provide not only comfort and support but also an aesthetic appearance, that cool sense of style which carries throughout the brand. The 'Park Street Oxford' looks like they are built to last years. A pair of boy's school shoes made for your little tough guy that will support him through the daily wear and tear of his ambitious energy. With a solid rubber sole, a mixed exterior of black leather and fabric and not 1 but 2 Velcro straps, these shoes would make action man proud.
Now it is the girl's turn next and we have a selection that's bound to put a big smile on your girl's face. These adorable laced 'Agata' brogues from Geox would be fit for any princess. The shiny black leather contrasts with a baby pink suede interior, completing the package with some trim shoe laces. Through rain, snow, hail and sunshine, these girls school shoes would be great for any weather conditions and provide the best protection. It is an all rounded, fashion statement shoe any girl would dream of owning.
If your girl is not so keen on lace ups then no need to worry, there are plenty of other styles we carry. These 'Alicia' girls school shoes from Ecco are a dream in the Velcro department. The design of the shoe is built to suit any outfit as well as provide the best support with a good quality gripped rubber sole. The final touches of high shine leather with a diamanté detail gives this shoe a sophisticated look which would even make Audrey Hepburn envious.
Finishing off where we started, there's an incredible girls school shoe created by Doc Martens. The 'Tully' black patent leather coated shoe is a bold fashion statement which would make any girl excited to own such a pair. The Mary Jane styled girls school shoe features the classic elements of the Doc Marten's brand; a fully supportive sole which includes the iconic 'air padded' feature and the eye catching stitching. A waterproof based shoe which would feature very well with both winter and summer uniform.
