It’s getting colder by the day, and that means that it’s time to think about slippers. Here are some of the many slipper styles we have to offer:
A popular style, the Imogen comes to us from veteran slipper-manufacturer Draper of Glastonbury. Featuring a real sheepskin lining for cosy and toasty tootsies and a natural crepe sole, these full-collar slipper-shoes are, unusually, suitable for outdoor use as well as indoor wear.
Another popular style, this time at the lower end of the price range. The Repose slipper-shoes are constructed from a microsuede upper for a velvety feel and feature a memory-foam sock which moulds itself to your feet. A sturdy rubber sole should ensure that these slippers last you for quite some time.
At the top end of the price range, and for good reason, is the Claire, also from our friends at Draper. This bootie-style slipper is made from double-faced sheepskin and extends up the leg for an extra-enveloping warmth and comfort.
Perhaps surprisingly, Skechers do slippers too! The quirkily-named Cherish Wonder Fall slipper comes in at a medium price for slippers, and features a padded footbed and shock-absorbent midsole for great comfort while standing or walking. Don’t be put off by the fur lining – its faux!
FitFlop are known for quality footwear and this slipper from them is no exception. With a supersoft suede upper and microfiber lining, these are cosy and comfy. FitFlop’s trademark microwobbleboard™ midsole means that shock from walking is absorbed and underfoot pressure is diffused across the entire sole, making for extra comfort while walking. A runched apron detailing gives these slippers style as well as comfort.
